Why Marine Scientists Should Attend Homecoming

Recently on this blog, we explored some of the reasons why people are coming back for Homecoming by having two alumni give us 100 words on why they are attending. The blog was very well received, with several comments and phone calls coming in, and even some sending us their own reasons (which we will be publishing next week, so if you would like to participate, please send your 100 words to alumni@ju.edu).

One person who wanted to get in on the fun was Dr. Quinton White, Marine Science Research Institute Executive Director and a good friend of the Dolphin Network blog. He wanted to spend his 100 words encouraging Marine Science Alumni to return and join him for a special event. Because we owed him for the extensive coverage we gave Dr. Spiro for the NROTC Dedication which was on the same day as the MRSI Dedication, we agreed....and even found a special font:

It is with great pleasure that we at the Marine Science Research Institute invite all Marine Science Classes to a special reunion and low country boil during Homecoming Weekend 2010! Please join us as we celebrate the new Marine Science Research Institute Building!
